Brett Favre’s Wrangler ‘Open Fly’ jeans SNL spoof is making waves on the web this week. Watch the video here to see what all of the buzz is about.
These days, things aren’t too pretty for old number four. He has spent the last few weeks getting owned by the media for his alleged communications with Jenn Sterger. Then he marched onto the field at Lambeau wearing purple only to receive a hefty boo.
Need I remind you that folks in Wisconsin are known for being kind?
But the beer filled, sausage grilling Packer fans weren’t the only ones who gave the legendary QB an earful over the weekend.
Brett Favre’s Wrangler ‘Open Fly’ jeans SNL video was bitingly funny (check it out below).
The video starts with a monologue given by man who looks nothing like Favre (nice try SNL). Wearing a faded #4 t-shirt, the man begins:
“I’ve tried all kinds of jeans…button fly, zipper fly—you name it. But for me, nothing works better than the all new open fly jeans from Wrangler….”
Much like the original commercial, the spoof shows a slow motion shot of a bunch of guys playing sand lot football. But as the ball is snapped, you see a blur over the private area of the man’s pants.
Highlights include the ‘huddle’ being broken up by #4 walking over with his junk hanging out. Then it shows him snapping a photo of his man hood with a cell phone—an obvious jab at the naughty text allegations.
The lowest blow takes aim at his marriage. The actor says “(the jeans) are the perfect marriage of comfort and style, and that’s a marriage I can respect.”
